In another sign of the times (the growth of the social games industry), Kabam has leased 25,000 square feet in the red-hot South of Market area in San Francisco. This new rental property is six times larger than Kabam’s current location. Previously know as Watercooler until last summer, Kabam plans to add 150 hires in San Francisco in the near future. With a headquarters in Redwood City, a staff in San Francisco, and an office in Beijing, Kabam also plans to add 750 people worldwide.
Kabam is the successful developer of Facebook games Kingdom of Camelot, Dragons of Atlantis, and Glory of Rome. Not coincidentally, Kabam recently raised $30 million to fuel studio expansion, as well as acquisitions and new title development.
